We’re hiring: 2 Data Modellers | Financial Services | Superannuation

We're looking for two experienced Data Modellers to join our financial services client in the superannuation sector, designing high quality data models across an Azure data platform .

These roles focus squarely on the membership side of superannuation

- member registries, account accumulation, contributions processing and fund administration. It's all about member lifecycles, employer relationships and insurance.

This is a hands on contract role for someone who enjoys working with complex enterprise data , understands the importance of strong modelling discipline and can partner confidently with business and technology teams

What you'll be doing:

You'll work closely with data architects, engineers, business SMEs and stakeholders to:

- Design a Data Vault 2.0 core integration layer: Hubs, Links and Satellites tracking member identities, account statuses, employer relationships and historical member changes
- Build a Kimball presentation layer: star schemas optimised for member analytics and operational metrics like onboarding turnaround, switching velocity and member retention
- Model high volume member transactions including employer contributions, rollovers, government co-contributions and fee deductions
- Architect structures capturing member insurance cover (Death, TPD, Income Protection),



premium deductions and complex beneficiary relationships
- Align models with APRA member level reporting mandates, ensuring explicit auditability and strict preservation of historical member records
- Develop conceptual, logical and physical models using erwin , and support data governance, definitions and standards

What you'll bring to the team: You're analytical, structured and comfortable working in complex data environments. Ideally, you'll have:

- Strong data modelling experience across enterprise environments, including Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball dimensional modelling
- Deep understanding of superannuation registry data, member lifecycles, preservation rules and super administration systems (e.g. Link, Grow Inc)
- Proven ability to model complex, changing member demographics (SCD Type 2) and large transactional datasets
- Hands on experience with erwin
- Experience with Azure data platforms; Snowflake an advantage
- Financial services background , ideally superannuation
- Strong SQL and data analysis capability
- Confidence working with both technical and business stakeholders
- A practical, outcome focused, collaborative approach
