Locations: Campbelltown & Norwest/Rouse Hill, NSW THE OPPORTUNITY We’re seeking experienced Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurses to join our growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients across all species - Perform triage, monitoring, and patient assessment under veterinary direction - Assist with emergency procedures, anaesthesia, and surgical support - Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment including CT, digital X‑ray, and ultrasound - Place IV catheters, collect samples, and run in‑house laboratory diagnostics - Monitor hospitalised patients and maintain accurate clinical records - Support and mentor junior nurses and student nurses - Participate in rotating shift rosters across a 24/7 operation OUR FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT Purpose‑built hospitals with:
- Onsite CT scanner with Board‑certified radiologist reporting - Ultrasound:
POCUS and full abdominal - Two fully equipped surgical theatres - Five consultation rooms (dedicated dog and cat rooms) - Onsite laboratory for rapid in‑house results - Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards - Oxygen and active scavenging systems throughout all clinical areas - Canine blood bank OUR SPECIALIST TEAM You’ll work alongside an established specialist network including:
- Dr Matteo Bordicchia — Small Animal Medicine, DECVIM - Dr Mohamed Sherif — Small Animal Surgery, MANZCVS - Onsite Specialist Ophthalmology Services WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification recognised in NSW) - Minimum 2+ years post‑qualification ECC or emergency nursing experience - Strong patient monitoring and anaesthetic nursing skills - Ability to work confidently in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments - Excellent communication and teamwork - Advanced ECC nursing qualifications or certifications - Experience with mechanical ventilation monitoring - Blood transfusion and blood bank experience - Previous experience in a referral or specialist hospital SALARY & BENEFITS Market-competitive salary: Based on experience & qualifications Benefits:
