We're looking to recruit a senior Financial Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract .

Included In What You'll Do

- Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, accruals and adjustments
- Prepare monthly management reports, reporting schedules and group reporting submissions
- Support quarterly external audit reviews and year-end financial statement preparation
- Prepare statutory and regulatory reporting, including APRA, AFIA and ASIC reporting
- Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting
- Support compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, SOX requirements and group reporting obligations
- Assist with ERP implementation activities and finance process improvements
- Provide financial analysis, commentary and ad hoc reporting
- Contribute to a high-performing finance team during a significant period of business transformation

What You Have To be successful, you'll bring:

- CA qualification with approximately 4-6 years' experience in financial accounting or audit
- Previous Big 4 experience (KPMG, Deloitte, EY or PwC highly regarded)
- Strong technical accounting capability




- Experience with financial reporting and external audit
- Exposure to SOX compliance and US GAAP (desirable)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other ERP systems is advantageous
