The Role

We are seeking an experienced Floor and Wall Tiler to join our growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out floor and wall tiling works on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Review blueprints and project specifications, accurately measuring and marking surfaces to plan tile layouts efficiently.
- Prepare walls and floors by stripping away old tiles, grout and adhesives, repairing imperfections such as cracks or holes, and thoroughly cleaning surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Position, cut, shape and secure tiles with precision, ensuring correct alignment, spacing and symmetry for a professional finish.
- Apply waterproofing solutions where required and install various flooring types, including granolithic, terrazzo and cement-based surfaces, in accordance with project specifications.
- Seal tile joints effectively to enhance durability and prevent moisture penetration.




- Perform internal and external caulking and finishing work to create clean, watertight joints and seamless edges, ensuring a professional standard of workmanship.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and company quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organised.

Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant full-time work experience as a Floor and Wall Tiler (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial tiling projects.
- Experience in waterproofing, tile installation, grouting and caulking.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut and shape ceramic, porcelain and stone tiles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
