This contract position offers the chance to work within a collaborative product development team, supporting innovation and continuous improvement projects across a diverse product portfolio.The successful candidate will be available to work full-time initially,
with flexibility to transition to reduced hours later in the year as required.Key Responsibilities- Assist with new product development and product improvement projects- Conduct factory and laboratory trials- Support product formulation and recipe development- Analyse trial results and prepare technical reports- Maintain accurate product specifications and documentation- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and cross-functional teams- Ensure products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsAbout You- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related discipline- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment preferred- Exposure to product development activities, whether through industry employment, internships, or university projects- Robust technical understanding of food science principles- Excellent communication and organisational skills- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities- Available to commence immediately
