We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our Rowville site on a 12-month parental leave contract. Reporting to the Site Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial, you will partner with leaders and employees to deliver high impact HR and IR solutions that drive business performance and foster a culture aligned to Lactalis values.

This is a true business partnering role, providing expert advice and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while leading strategic HR initiatives, employee relations matters and industrial negotiations. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers and employees, helping build leadership capability and create a positive and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the site.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR, ER and IR matters.
- Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations.
- Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement.
- Liaise with Fair Work and other external stakeholders on industrial matters.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning activities.
- Engage with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site
- Proactively develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement improvement initiatives.





About You You are a hands-on HR qualified with strong ER and IR expertise who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and influencing positive people outcomes. You will bring:

- Experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex ER and IR matters.
- Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
