About the role:
We are seeking an ICT Officer on a permanent full time basis to play a key role in shaping and supporting Council's digital environment. Working across the organisation, you will improve the way technology is used, deliver responsive ICT support, and help drive digital innovation that enables better services for employees and the community.
This is more than a traditional ICT support role. You will work collaboratively with employees across Council to identify opportunities to streamline business processes, enhance digital capability and deliver practical technology solutions that improve the user experience. You will support and optimise Microsoft 365, Power Platform and other business systems while contributing to automation, continuous improvement and technology projects that support Council's ICT Strategy and Digital Roadmap.

Essential Requirements:
- Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required employment related checks.
Desirable:
- Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure or related vendor certifications.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Qualifications, training or relevant experience in cyber security, project management, business analysis or continuous improvement.
- Experience working within local government or a similarly complex operational environment.
- Experience working with external Managed Service Providers and technology vendors.
- Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions or organisational capability building initiatives.
What’s on offer:
- A full-time permanent position with some flexibility to work from home once established within the role, noting the role has a strong onsite service delivery focus.
- Annual salary of $85,000 - $101,000 p.a. negotiable, plus 12% superannuation.
- Rostered Day Off structure, with the option to work a 9-day fortnight or 19-day month.
- Relocation and/or travel allowance, negotiable based on experience and travel requirements.
