Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an Associate to join its growing Corporate team in Sydney.

This is an excellent chance to work on a diverse range of M&A;, equity capital markets and corporate advisory matters, acting for Australian and international clients across a variety of industries. You will gain exposure to sophisticated transactions while working within a collaborative team that offers genuine mentoring and long-term career progression.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, including:

- Public and private mergers and acquisitions
- Equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and secondary capital raisings
- Corporate restructures and reorganisations
- Corporate governance and regulatory advisory
- ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act compliance
- General commercial and strategic corporate advisory work





This role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on complex and high-profile transactions.

About You

You will have

- 3–5 years' post-admission experience in Corporate law
- Strong experience in M&A; and Equity Capital Markets, gained within a mid-tier, national or top-tier law firm
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
- Strong commercial judgement and a client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine desire to develop your career within a growing Corporate practice
