About the Role
Monash Gardens is seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurse Grade 3 Team Leaders to join our dedicated clinical team in both part-time and casual positions.
As a Registered Nurse Grade 3 Team Leader, you will lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and support the ongoing development of staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical care are delivered.
You will play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life of our residents through strong clinical leadership and compassionate, person-centred care.
We are seeking professionals who are committed to excellence in aged care. The part-time position will work the following roster:
Week 1
- Monday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Wednesday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2
- Monday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Wednesday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Thursday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
We are also recruiting for casual Registered Nurse Grade 3 Team Leader opportunities, offering flexibility to work across a variety of shifts to support the needs of the home.
Casual team members will play an important role in maintaining continuity of quality care and clinical leadership.
This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nursing leaders seeking either regular part-time hours or the flexibility of casual employment within a supportive and resident-focused aged care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the clinical and care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Coordinate care delivery, clinical assessments, care planning, and AN-ACC documentation.
- Administer medications and oversee wound management in line with best practice standards.
- Collaborate with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals to achieve positive care outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and effective resource management.
- Foster a positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and open communication.
What You'll Bring:
- Previous leadership experience in aged care or a similar healthcare environment.
- Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and resident wellbeing.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of aged care standards, clinical governance, and relevant legislation.

Essential Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Current National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Full working rights in Australia.
