About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a mine-site-based workshop supporting a mixed fleet of civil and mining equipment. You'll oversee the maintenance of a diverse site-based mobile equipment fleet, including CAT D8T Dozers, CAT 33GC, excavators and rock breakers, CAT 150 graders, CAT 966 wheel loaders, an Isuzu 8x4 watercart and Toyota Hilux utilities, along with associated ancillary equipment. Supervise all workshop and field-based maintenance activities for light and heavy mobile plant.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns.

Provide leadership and mentoring to tradespeople and service personnel.

Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to OEM and site standards.

Manage parts, consumables, and maintenance records.

Liaise with project teams and site supervisors to align maintenance priorities with operational needs.

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping within the workshop.





Support the implementation of continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Essential

Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years previous mine-site supervision experience (mobile plant workshop or field maintenance)

Mechanical Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Plant Mechanic, LV Mechanic or equivalent). S26 Supervisory Qualification

Proven experience leading workshop teams in civil or mining environment Robust understanding of mobile plant maintenance systems, defect management, and service scheduling

Ability to your Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) for reporting and planning

Strong organisational and communication skills - prioritising tasks and managing people effectively HR/HC Drivers License - preferred

First Aid & CPR - desirable

Familiarity with Fortescue or other major mining client maintenance systems - desirable Benefits & Rewards Long-term, stable role on a Pilbara-based mine site

8/6 FIFO roster - day shift only
