About the Role A private family in Armadale is looking for an experienced maternity nurse, midwife or experienced nanny to care for their three young children on a four-day roster (13 hours per day). The family is looking for two people to take on the four days between them. This is a casual, long-term position with an immediate start. A paid day rate applies when travelling with the family (interstate or international, as mutually agreed).

Roster and pay

- Rate: $55–$65 per hour depending on qualifications, inclusive of superannuation

- Working days are set from within: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

- Allocated days will be set and not interchangeable; day swaps require arrangement with another nanny, with notice and approval

Responsibilities

- Providing exceptional care, supervision, and ensuring the children's safety.

- Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.

- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.

- Managing children's laundry, wardrobes, and organising clothes.





- Keeping children's bedrooms, playrooms, prams, highchairs, bottles, and toys clean and organised.

- Following routines for naps, meals, activities, and appointments.

- Liaising with parents and providing regular updates on the children's day.

- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

- Various other responsibilities as instructed by the principals.

What we're looking for

- Qualified midwife or maternity nurse (AHPRA registration or equivalent), or an experienced professional nanny.

- Demonstrated experience caring for infants.

- Current Employee Working with Children Check (VIC).

- Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012 or equivalent).

- Willing to complete a National Police Check.

- Full working rights in Australia.

- Discreet and qualified: a confidentiality agreement applies, and no social media content involving the family is permitted.
