ABOUT THIS ROLE Based out of our Stapylton depot, we are seeking skilled multi combination drivers to assist our local operation on a permanent basis. All JJs Waste & Recycling operators are expected to be honest and reliable, contribute to a positive driving culture, work within company and regulatory guidelines at all times, and maintain high standards of truck cleanliness and presentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operating late-model Volvo prime movers (FMX, FM, & FH)
- Operating B-double Side Tipper trailers (full training provided)
- Transporting bulk solid waste daily between SEQ facilities (Oxenford, Stapylton, Toowoomba)
- Participating in a rotating Saturday roster (approx. one Saturday per month)

ABOUT YOU The successful candidate joining the JJ’s Waste team will demonstrate:

- MC Condition B Licence
- The ability to work productively with operations staff, customers, and fellow drivers
- A consistent commitment to safe work practices
- Flexibility with variable daily start times and schedules
- A willingness to work 10–14 hour shifts per day (depot to depot)
- The discipline to complete paperwork accurately and neatly (NHVR work diary, run sheets, defect reporting)
- Current BFM accreditation (or the ability to obtain it)
- A basic knowledge of heavy vehicle mass limits
- The readiness to complete a pre-employment medical,



including drug and alcohol testing
- A willingness to provide a 5-year driving licence history report
