Medical Receptionist

Casual Position

We are a busy and well-established GP clinic located in Melbourne seeking a friendly, organised, and qualified Medical Receptionist to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service.

- Welcoming and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Managing appointments and phone enquiries
- Processing Medicare claims and payments
- Handling patient records with strict confidentiality
- Liaising with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
- General administrative/cleaning duties and maintaining a tidy reception area and overall the whole clinic

Essential Criteria:

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred)
- Experience using medical software (e.g., Best Practice or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and within a team

Pay: From $26.44 per hour
