Aboriginal Land Care Pty Ltd is seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our growing enviromental team. We deliver high-quality environmental and land management services across bushland reserves, natural areas, parks, gardens, and streetscapes throughout the Perth metropolitan region and beyond.

Our work focuses on protecting, restoring, and enhancing natural environments through weed control, revegetation, natural area maintenance, ecological restoration, horticultural services, and land management projects to name a few.

Based in South Guildford, we operate across the greater Perth region, with occasional opportunities to work on regional projects.

We currently have casual and full-time positions available, with opportunities ranging from General Hand through to Team Leader roles. The position offered will reflect your skills, qualifications, and experience.

About the Role

This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to people who enjoy physical work, take pride in achieving high-quality outcomes, and have a genuine interest in environmental conservation, native vegetation, and land management. During your first three months,



you'll receive comprehensive training and support to become familiar with our work sites, operating procedures, safety systems, and quality standards.

Duties May Include

- Herbicide application and weed control
- Manual and mechanical weed removal
- Brush cutting, vegetation management, hedging, and chainsaw operations
- Native planting and revegetation works
- Native seed collection
- Watering and plant establishment programs
- Erosion control and site rehabilitation
- Rubbish removal and site maintenance
- Natural area restoration and conservation works
- Assisting with land management and environmental projects
- Completing daily reports and field records
- Assisting with flora mapping, weed management plans, and environmental reporting (depending on experience)

This role requires a good level of physical fitness and the ability to work safely in a variety of outdoor environments and weather conditions.

Pay and Conditions

Starting Rate: $34.00 – $40 per hour Pay rates will be determined by your qualifications, experience, licences, and the role offered.

Essential Skills and Experience

Applicants must have:
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Current Driver's Licence (manual/C Class preferred)
- Pesticide Licence, Spray Ticket, or relevant chemical application qualifications
- Previous experience in conservation, land management, horticulture, bush regeneration, or similar outdoor work
- A genuine interest in natural areas, ecosystems, and native vegetation
- Positive physical fitness and reliability
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Practical problem-solving skills and common sense
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

The following will be highly regarded:
- Certificate III or IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
- Horticulture qualifications
- Environmental Science studies or degree
- Ability to identify Perth region native plants and environmental weeds
- Experience in bush regeneration and ecological restoration
- Trailer towing experience
- Off-road driving experience
- LR or MR Driver's Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- White Card
- Green Card
- Team Leader or supervisory experience
