We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Technical Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across the organization.
? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
? Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
? Implement network upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
? Ensure network security, availability, and compliance with organizational policies.
? Provide technical support to internal users and resolve network-related incidents promptly.
? Collaborate with IT teams to deploy new technologies and infrastructure projects.
? Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, and technical reports.
? Recommend improvements to enhance network performance, reliability, and efficiency.
✅ REQUIREMENTS
?? Must be legally eligible to work in Australia.
? Applicants must hold one of the following:
- Australian Citizen
- Australian Permanent Resident
- Valid Australian Work Visa with full work rights
❌ Applicants holding a Visitor Visa, Tourist Visa, or any visa without work rights are not eligible for this position. ? Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
? Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
?️ Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control solutions.
? Hands-on experience with networking equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, or similar platforms is preferred.
? Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
? Willingness to travel occasionally to support business operations when required.
