The opportunity

As New Product Strategy & Planning Lead, you will lead strategic planning activities across our oncology pipeline and provide data-driven insights to support portfolio, asset and commercial decision-making.

Reporting to the Director, Oncology Business, you will lead a Business Insights Analyst and work closely with local, regional and global stakeholders to evaluate future growth opportunities, develop asset strategies, support launch preparedness and contribute to long-term portfolio growth.

You will also play a key role in strengthening the processes, systems and capabilities that support launch excellence across the business.

The role suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, analytics, collaboration and execution,



with the ability to connect complex information into clear priorities and practical action.

Your day to day

- Lead asset strategy and launch planning for future oncology products
- Drive portfolio and asset decision-making through market insights, forecasting and commercial analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support launch readiness and patient access planning
- Develop integrated launch roadmaps, timelines and strategic plans
- Identify evidence gaps and generate insights to support investment and prioritisation decisions
- Lead key pre-launch projects, including resource planning and budget management
- Enhance processes, systems and ways of working to support launch excellence
- Monitor the external healthcare environment and translate changes into actionable business insights
- Engage external experts and partners where required to support successful asset launches.

About You This role will suit you if you enjoy building strategy, working across functions and helping teams make confident decisions in a complex oncology environment.

- Degree qualified in a medical, scientific or business-related discipline
- Experience in pharmaceutical new product planning, commercialisation or launch strategy
- Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare environment, including the pathway from product registration through to reimbursement and patient access
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and navigate complex environments
- Strong commercial, analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels




- Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
- Experience working within strategic alliances, supporting regulatory strategy and managing external partners is desirable.
