The Role

As New Vehicle Sales Manager for Volvo and GAC, you will be responsible for the day-to-day sales performance of both brands while working closely with experienced senior dealership management.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role. You will lead from the front, support your sales team and remain actively involved throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading,



motivating and developing the Volvo and GAC sales teams
- Achieving monthly retail, volume and profitability objectives
- Managing customer enquiries, leads and sales opportunities
- Assisting sales consultants with negotiations and closing deals
- Driving strong enquiry follow-up and CRM disciplines
- Managing new vehicle stock, demonstrators and aged inventory
- Monitoring salesperson performance and activity
- Coaching and developing individual team members
- Ensuring manufacturer standards and processes are consistently achieved
- Working closely with Finance & Insurance and Aftermarket departments
- Maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
- Supporting local marketing, events and lead-generation activities
- Developing GAC's presence and market share across the Sunshine Coast
- Building a positive, accountable and high-performance sales culture

Who We're Looking For? Previous Sales Manager experience is not essential.

We are particularly interested in speaking with successful automotive salespeople who have demonstrated that they can consistently perform and are now ready for greater responsibility.

You may currently be a Senior Sales Consultant, Assistant Sales Manager or 2IC – or simply a high-performing salesperson who knows they are ready for the next step.

You will ideally have:

- Proven success in automotive sales
- A strong record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent closing and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- The confidence to lead and motivate a sales team
- A willingness to coach and develop others
- Strong organisation and follow-up disciplines




- Commercial awareness and an understanding of dealership profitability
- An enthusiasm for new automotive technology, including EV and hybrid vehicles
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ambition to develop a long-term career in automotive management
- A current Australian driver's licence
