Are you a reliable, and looking for a hands-on role with long-term opportunities? We are currently seeking Pallet Repairer to join a safety-focused manufacturing operation on a permanent night shift roster.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, or factory environments who enjoy practical work and using hand and power tools.
About The Role As a Pallet Repairer, you will work at a dedicated workstation where pallets are delivered via conveyor for inspection and repair.
Your Duties Will Include
- Visually inspecting pallets to identify damaged or unsecured battens
- Using hydraulic lifting equipment to safely remove damaged timber
- Using a pneumatic nail gun to secure replacement battens
- Utilising hydraulic equipment to rotate pallets for full inspections
- Maintaining production targets while working safely
The role has been designed with automation and mechanical aids to significantly reduce manual handling; however, candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods, leaning, pushing pallets, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift. About You To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, factory, or warehouse environment
- A strong work ethic and ability to stay motivated in a repetitive role
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Experience using hand and power tools highly regarded, particularly:
- Angle grinders
- Pneumatic nail guns
