Childcare Trainee – Start Your Career in Early Childhood Education

As a Trainee Educator, you’ll start your career as part of a small, close-knit team where you’ll be supported to become a great Educator from day one.

We currently have a Childcare Trainee position available at our long day care centre in Lane Cove.

As part of your traineeship, you’ll work towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while receiving comprehensive on-the-job training, mentoring and support.

You don’t need previous childcare qualifications. We’re looking for someone who is kind, enthusiastic, curious and genuinely interested in building a career working with children.

- Has a genuine interest and ambition to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education
- Enjoys working with or caring for children
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn
- Has strong communication and English language skills
- Enjoys being part of a team
- Is willing to ask questions, take feedback and develop their skills
- Can bring energy, kindness and a sense of fun to the workplace

To qualify for this traineeship, you should not have previously completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
