Project Lead - Data Platform Architecture

Contract Details

- Location: Brisbane (Hybrid - 3 days/60% in office)
- Daily Rate: $1,050 - $1,150/day (inclusive of superannuation)
- Engagement Period: 24 August 2026 - 24 December 2026 (with possible extension)
- Reporting To: Manager Project Delivery

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive the delivery of a key Data Platform Architecture Review in collaboration with an external consulting partner. Serving as the central point of contact, you will coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage review deliverables, and spearhead the development of foundational Data Governance by Design and AI Governance by Design processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Liaison & Coordination: Act as the primary interface with external consulting partners, managing workshops, interviews, and information gathering across key business areas.
- Project Delivery: Oversee deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, status reporting, and executive briefings.
- Framework Development: Build practical, repeatable Data Governance by Design and AI Governance by Design processes, templates, and guidance.
- Governance Alignment:



Ensure full alignment with existing Information and Data Governance, Data Quality, Operating Model, and AI Governance Frameworks.
- Strategic Advice: Provide subject matter advice on data governance and information management impacts arising from the review.

Required Experience & Skills

- Demonstrated track record in project coordination, facilitation, and high-level stakeholder management.
- Proven experience managing external vendors or consulting partners.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and information management practices.
- Ability to work autonomously to deliver high-quality outcomes within a short-term contract.
- Hands-on familiarity or experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Informatica, MS Fabric, or Data360.
