Join Our Hospital in the Home Mental Health Team. We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker – Senior (Mental Health Clinician) to join our team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, recovery-focused mental health care in community settings, supporting consumers to receive hospital-level care in the comfort of their own homes.

Your opportunity:
- Function as a senior clinician within the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence based best practice clinical advice, direction and problem solving, goal setting and prioritising for clinical services to consumers and carers experiencing and affected by responsible mental disorders and other serious mental health problems across the community to clients of the Hospital in the Home Mental Health Program.
- Provide clinical consultation, assessment and discipline specific interventions for consumers admitted to the acute adult inpatient unit at the Maryborough Mental Health Unit. Including the development of inpatient day programs for groups and individuals.
- Assist the Team Leader with clinical problem solving, clinical advice and team direction.
- Participation in all aspects of the Model of Service Delivery for the Hospital in the Home Mental Health Program.
- Deliver clinical services within an integrated mental health service environment with a multidisciplinary team focus. The provisions of these services are to consumers and carers experiencing and affected by serious mental disorders and other serious mental health problems across both the community and inpatient settings.
Qualifications and other requirements:
- Psychologists:
Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Psychologist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
- Occupational Therapists: Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
- Social Workers: Mandatory possession of a recognised degree in Social Work, and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Eligibility is dependent on the candidate having completed a University level Social Work degree accredited by the AASW and that the candidate does not have any other outstanding professional competency or ethical issues or complaints known to the AASW which may preclude membership.
- Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a “certification of eligibility” letter from the AASW to confirm their eligibility for membership. Overseas qualified applicants should include such evidence with their application to be considered for short-listing in the selection process.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $24,846 p.a., comprising salary rates between $64.64 - $69.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Part Time, 12 hours p.f.)
