The Role Reporting to the Head of Allied Health, you will be required to deliver high quality, person centred occupational therapy while leading the development and oversight of therapy informed day programs — programs that teach real skills to participants who are looking for more than the typical day program models. You will work from the new Mortdale facility, a large open gym floor with sensory equipment, a rock climbing wall and a foam pit, helping to design the space and the programs alongside Behaviour Support and the support teams. This is a full time role, 5 days a week,



typically 8am to 4pm, with flexibility for off site work when needed.

Additionally, you will:

- Deliver person centred occupational therapy with a strong focus on sensory regulation
- Develop, implement and oversee therapy informed day programs for participants
- Support a caseload spanning a mix of younger children and school leavers
- Work collaboratively with Behaviour Support Practitioners, support teams and other stakeholders
- Train and upskill support workers in program delivery & provide clinical supervision to a new grad OT
- Conduct regular reviews, adjust therapy plans, and contribute to internal clinical governance and continuous improvement

Essential Selection Criteria You are a registered Occupational Therapist with genuine strength in sensory regulation and the energy to build something new. You bring a fresh, creative approach, the appetite to lead, and the vision to make a new service your own. Additionally, you possess:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience, though stronger and more experienced candidates who fit the profile are genuinely welcome
- Demonstrated interest or experience in sensory regulation
- Supervision or mentoring capability
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
