Finn Valley Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer you will lead the Onsite Construction Crew & work closely with the Site Manager to play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects in Clarence, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to the growth and development of our company.

What you'll be doing

- Oversee the day-to-day Project & Site operations and activities at our project sites across Maclean & Grafton, & Yamba.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications & Environmental Regulations/approvals
- Coordinate, Liaise & Hold Weekly meetings with The Clients, Council ,Design Consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedules and deadlines
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction, and implement effective solutions




- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation in accordance with GC21 Contract conditions, maintain Cost & Budget tracking including reports, project plans, and records
- Collaborate with the project management team to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement to deliver the project in a timely manner & within budget

What we're looking for

- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineer, preferably in the civil/structural engineering industry
- Robust technical knowledge and practical understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in the use of engineering software and project management tools, MS Project & Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
