Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager

Melbourne, VIC | Full Time — 12 Month Maternity Contract

Are you a creative all-rounder who lives and breathes branding, design and social content?

We're on the hunt for a Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager to join a well-known Victorian retail liquor brand's marketing team — one that's fun, fast-paced and never short on variety.

One minute you're building a campaign key visual, the next you're designing POS, rolling out an EDM, or shooting content for Instagram. If you thrive on this kind of creative variety and love seeing your work show up everywhere — in stores, inboxes, on socials, and at events — this role is for you.

You'll play a key role in shaping how the brand shows up across stores, digital channels, loyalty programs, internal comms, events and member marketing. No two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

Brand & Campaign Design

- Develop and maintain brand templates, assets and guidelines
- Create campaign branding, key visuals and design systems across retail and loyalty programs
- Design print and digital assets — posters, wobblers, signage, vouchers, LED and digital screen content
- Produce artwork for catalogues, POS suites, promotions and seasonal campaigns
- Support product and supplier promotions with branded creative

Retail & In-Store Design

- Design and maintain retail POS — external signage, shelf signage, promotional displays
- Create ticketing assets (print, digital and shrouds)
- Develop store-specific and local area marketing assets
- Assist with new store branding concepts and signage proposals
- Keep product image libraries and packaging assets current

EDMs & Communications

- Design and maintain EDM templates and branding
- Create internal comms materials — presentations, event invites, onboarding decks, team resources




- Support member-facing communications and promotional decks
- Maintain branding consistency across business documents and presentations

Events, Merch & Partnerships

- Develop branding and creative for conferences, roadshows, forums and activations
- Design uniforms, merchandise and event collateral
- Support external partnerships, sponsorships and industry events
- Assist with office branding, signage and environmental artwork

Social Media & Digital Content

- Manage social content across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Build the content calendar and manage shoot schedules
- Film, edit and schedule content
- Boost posts and engage with the community
- Deliver on growth strategy and supplier commitments

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years' experience in graphic design, marketing and social media
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Google Slides, including basic animation
- Experience creating content for both print and digital
- Confidence across social platforms and best-practice content creation
- Photography, lo-fi video, content editing and animation skills
- Sharp attention to detail and strong self-management across multiple projects
- Ability to move rapid in a busy retail marketing environment
- A great eye for branding, layout and typography
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus points if you have:

- Experience in retail, FMCG or hospitality marketing
- EDM platform experience (Klaviyo or similar)
- Basic web or eCommerce design skills
