About the Role:

Role Type:Sessional (Casual role), flexible with days(Tuesdays notrequired)
Remuneration: starting at $ 91.42 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

We are looking for aTeacher Horticulture(casual role) to deliver high-quality vocational education and training across horticulture programs, supporting learners to develop practical, job-ready skills aligned to industry standards. This role involves classroom and practical delivery, assessment, student support, and contribution to continuous improvement within a corrections education setting.

You will develop and deliver engaging,



customised learning experiences acrossCertificate II inHorticulture,supporting learners to build confidence, competence and literacyand numeracy skills. You will alsomaintainaccuratestudent records,assessmentsand compliance documentation in line with national VET quality standards and BKI policies.

- CertificateII in Horticultureor another relevant horticulture-related industry qualification
- Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings
- Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
- Computer proficiency
- Compliance paperwork management
- Ability to teach independently
- Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success
