They are now seeking an Assistant Store Manager with fresh produce knowledge to strengthen their leadership team.
About The Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing fresh departments, with a strong focus on produce performance. You will be responsible for produce ordering, managing wastage and shrinkage, maintaining quality standards and ensuring the department is presented to a high standard at all times.
Alongside fresh oversight, you will support the Store Manager with daily operations, team leadership, rostering and driving store performance. This is a hands on role suited to someone who understands high volume stock movement and tight margin control.
Skills And Experience
- Leadership experience from supermarket, petrol and convenience, or hospitality such as restaurant or cafe
- Strong understanding of produce ordering, wastage and shrinkage control
- Ability to manage teams and drive performance
- Commercial mindset with strong stock control knowledge
- High standards around quality, presentation and customer service
