About The Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to lead the day to day operations of our Melbourne studio. This is a diverse and busy role for someone who thrives on organisation, anticipates what’s needed before it’s asked, and enjoys bringing people, places and processes together.
Reporting to the National Studio Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional front of house experience and ensuring the studio operates seamlessly day to day. You’ll coordinate front and back of house operations, events and internal communications, maintain a showcase standard workplace workplace, and build strong relationships across the business. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help foster a positive studio culture while supporting the effective delivery of our national operations.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Creating a welcoming and professional studio workplace by being the first point of contact for clients, visitors and colleagues, while anticipating and responding to stakeholder needs.
- Building rapport with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, responsiveness and continuous improvement of the workplace experience.
- Managing workstation allocations, workplace utilisation, onboarding and offboarding to ensure staff have the resources and support they need to succeed. Coordinating internal events, studio communications, travel bookings, facilities management, deliveries, expenses and other operational activities.
- Leading workplace health and safety initiatives, including training and safety audits, to ensure compliance with regulations and foster a culture of safety and wellbeing among team members.
- Leading the local studio team, providing direction, collaboration and day-to-day oversight to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
About You We are excited to welcome someone with the following skills:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, managing a busy office environment end-to-end
- Is highly competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Adobe InDesign and Canva is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving aptitude,
the ability to think critically and make sound commercial decisions, and strong stakeholder management skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle shifting demands whilst keeping track of various responsibilities
- As a central point of contact, you will need excellent communication skills to interact with staff, clients and suppliers
- Ability to motivate and inspire the team to deliver a quality front of house experience and superior internal and external service
