About Coho Pipe Inspection:

Coho Pipe Inspection is a trusted provider of oilfield equipment inspection and quality assurance services. We specialize in ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of critical equipment used in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on tubing and sucker rod inspections.

We are currently seeking an Oilfield Equipment Inspection Assistant to join our team. This an entry level role that involves equipment inspection, making it ideal for those with heavy industry experience who are self-motivated and detail-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect tubing and sucker rods to industry standards.
- Learn to perform non-destructive testing (NDT), including Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) under supervision where applicable.
- Identify defects, wear, and potential safety hazards in equipment.
- Learn to maintain detailed and accurate inspection records and generate reports.
- Becoming competant at operating front-end loaders (30-40% of the role) as part of daily operations.
- Work independently while ensuring compliance with strict health, safety, and environmental procedures.




- Collaborate as part of a small, high-performing team in both workshop and field environments.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Perferred heavy industry experience (oil & gas, construction, mining, or similar).
- Self-starting and detail-focused mindset.
- Ideally some experience inspecting or handling tubing and sucker rods.
- High level of computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
- Current driver’s license (mandatory).
- Forklift and telehandler experience (desirable).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Must provide references.
