About the role

CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced Onshore Rig Mechanic for a shutdown from 3rd–18th September, mobilising from Toowoomba to an active Oil & Gas drilling rig near Wandoan. You'll maintain critical drilling equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently while working alongside an experienced rig crew.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical maintenance on drilling equipment
- Fault-find hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and servicing
- Respond to breakdowns to minimise rig downtime
- Maintain high safety and operational standards

Qualifications/Experience required

- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Oil & Gas rig maintenance experience
- Working at Heights & Confined Space
- Gas Testing certificate
- Current Driver's Licence & White Card
