Onsite Embedded Technician – 5/4 Roster We are looking for a talented Field Service Mechanic to join our high performing field service team. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines , powering a range of mining equipment. Boggabri Coal mine site.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- First responder to breakdown events
- Fleet maintenance
- Capturing engine data
- Fault diagnostics
- Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
- Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment




- Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu and Liebherr
- The face of Cummins at the customer site

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)
- Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
- Strong engine diagnostic experience
- The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
- A valid driver’s license
- Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
