$75,000–$90,000 plus super, depending on experience

Some people like a quiet office, a fixed task list and a day that goes exactly to plan.

This role is not for them.

Design Build Maintain is looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to help manage reactive and planned commercial building maintenance work across NSW and the ACT.

Our days move quickly. Urgent jobs come in, clients change priorities, trades become unavailable and schedules need to be reorganized—sometimes several times before lunch.

We need someone who stays calm, thinks ahead and finds a way forward.

You will be responsible for

- Coordinating trades and subcontractors
- Managing multiple active work orders
- Reprioritizing the workload as new jobs arrive
- Organizing urgent and same-day attendance
- Keeping clients informed
- Following up trades, materials and approvals
- Maintaining accurate job notes and records
- Identifying problems early and providing solutions
- Following every job through to completion

You must have

- At least three years’ experience in operations, scheduling, service coordination or dispatch
- Experience coordinating trades, technicians or subcontractors
- Experience managing a fast-paced and constantly changing workload
- Strong communication, organization and follow-up skills
- Experience using scheduling, job-management, CRM or field-service software
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship

Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire, security or another field-service industry will be highly regarded.
