9D Care offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community participation. We are looking for people who can provide practical and emotional help to others, calling on their own real-life experiences to build rapport and relationships. Your support will enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes, throughout the Melbourne Region, VIC.

About You

We require our Disability Support Workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Worker

- Strong communication and organisational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity

Qualifications required

- Experience as a Disability Support worker, providing Personal care, Community access & Domestic Assistance.
- Experience of at least 12-24 months working in complex care.
- Experience in Type 1 Von Willebrand disease, PICA, Somnipathy (sleep disorder), Anaphylaxis to bees and jumping jack ants, Microcephaly, low muscle tone/muscle weakness, Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 3, Chronic Constipation, Recurrent Infections, seizures which are common for people with VSVS.
- Certificate in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent.
- NDIS Screening Check Clearance
- Full VIC Driver's Licence
- All applicants must have a relevant visa or working rights in Australia.
