The Role

As the Retail Store Assistant, you'll play a key role assisting with the up-keep of the store & creating a delightful shopping experience to our customers; whilst representing the Alamour brand. You will be working alongside a dedicated team member; your responsibilities will include:

- Providing exceptional customer service, offering personalised styling advice for special occasions.
- Merchandising and maintaining beautiful in-store displays.
- Managing inventory, including stock counts and steaming new arrivals.
- Communicating with the head office team/ store manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinating same-day delivery dispatches / other shipments from the store.




- Answering phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- More than welcome to have some fun & create fun content for socials.

Skills / Responsibilities

- Experience in retail is welcomed, preferably in the fashion industry with a focus on mid to high-end or formal wear.
- A minimum of 2+ years retail experience is required for this position.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and/or alone.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and understand their needs.
- Confident to drive sales and achieve targets in a competitive retail environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a keen eye for visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
- A passion for fashion, particularly in dresses/ gowns & formal wear, with a keen sense of current trends and styles.

Working hours

- Saturday: 11:00pm - 5:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
- Monday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
