The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for anOperations Team Memberto join theproduction teambased at our brand-newPort Macquarie, NSWsite.Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Our team members play a vital role in our production setting. They operate machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality, remaining committed to their safety and that of the team.
Working Monday to Friday in a day-shift position, you will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our technicianrole allowing for future career development opportunities.
What Will You Do?
This diverserole will offer you variety each day, providing you with scope to showcase your skills that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products. You will:
- operatea forklift, roll-formers and processing machinery
- preloadand unloadour products to trucks
- safely pack and strap our steel products on site to create specific orders
- supportthe team with general tasks
More About You
Being a reliable anddedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
- experience in a similar operationsenvironment
- a valid forklift ticket or willing
