All-Rounder Plant Operator

Everest Civil is seeking an experienced and motivated All-Rounder Plant Operator to join our growing team. This role offers a mix of local and away work across a diverse range of civil construction, road construction, earthworks, stabilisation, and infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As an All-Rounder Operator, you will play a key role in project delivery by operating a variety of machinery and supporting site crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can adapt to changing site conditions, and is willing to contribute wherever required.

Machinery Experience

Experience operating some or all of the following is highly regarded:

- Rollers

- Excavators

- Skid Steers

- Loaders

- Water Carts

- Graders

- Moxy/Articulated Dump Trucks

- Stabiliser equipment

- Other civil construction plant and machinery

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a range of civil construction plant and equipment.

- Complete earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and construction activities.

- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks.

- Follow project plans, specifications, and site instructions.

- Work alongside supervisors and crews to achieve project deadlines.

- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Identify and report hazards, defects,



and maintenance requirements.

- Assist with labouring duties when required.

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and productivity.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Proven experience operating multiple pieces of civil construction plant.

- Current Construction White Card.

- Current Driver's Licence.

- Current Roller Ticket.

- Strong understanding of civil construction practices.

- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.

- Willingness to travel and undertake away work.

- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.

Highly Desirable

- Stabilisation experience.

- HR or MC Licence.

- GPS machine control experience.

- Final Trim experience.

- Additional machinery tickets and competencies.

- Experience working on road construction and infrastructure projects.
