Oracle Fusion ERP Financial Specialist : Contract : Adelaide/ Melbourne

Your new role We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Technical Specialist to join our project team. This role is responsible for the technical support, enhancement and integration of Oracle Financials.

You will work closely with Finance, Business Applications, Enterprise Architecture, and external vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable Oracle Financials services that support critical business operations.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in modernising our Oracle ecosystem while contributing to strategic digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical administration, support, and maintenance of Oracle Financials applications.
- Support testing, change management, and successful implementation of system enhancements.
- Gather requirements, perform business analysis, and deliver functional enhancements across Oracle Fusion.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle Financials and other enterprise systems.[JT1]
- Develop and maintain technical solutions using Oracle technologies, including SQL, APIs, interfaces, workflows, and reporting tools.
- Investigate and resolve application, integration, and data-related issues.
- Support financial reporting requirements and data extraction processes.
- Configure Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Procurement.
- A solid understanding of finance processes and the ability to translate them into functional system requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with security, compliance,



and architectural standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and business stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

- 8+ years' experience supporting Oracle Financials in a technical capacity.
- Robust hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience across Finance modules.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience with Oracle integrations, APIs, web services, and data migration tools.
- Strong understanding of core financial modules, including:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets (FA)

Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Oracle Time and Labour (OTL)

Project Costing & Billing

- Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues.
- Understanding of software development life-cycle (SDLC), change management, and testing practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering the full solution life-cycle including BAU support, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and enhancement delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing, mapping, and converting data from existing source systems to Oracle applications, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with Oracle migration templates and implementation best practices
