Maltem Australia is seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Developer to support the design, development, integration and ongoing improvement of a business-critical enterprise asset management platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, project teams and support teams across the full delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and production support.

Interstate candidates will be considered but must be able to travel to Canberra for critical workshops, delivery activities and platform deployments.

Key responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure and support Oracle Utilities WAM solutions
- Develop OUAF components, including Business Objects, Service Scripts, Algorithms, Batch Processes, UI Maps, Portals and Zones
- Develop custom solutions using Java/J2EE, Groovy, SQL and PL/SQL
- Build and support integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, XSD and JSON
- Support Oracle SOA Suite integrations and enterprise integration standards
- Troubleshoot incidents, defects and performance issues
- Support upgrades, migrations, releases and production deployments
- Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer

Essential experience

- 7–10 years’ relevant enterprise application and integration experience
- Strong hands-on Oracle Utilities WAM and OUAF experience
- Strong Java/J2EE, SQL and PL/SQL development skills




- Experience with Groovy scripting and Oracle Utilities development frameworks
- Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations
- Working knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, including BPEL, Mediator and Adapters
- Experience with Oracle database performance tuning
- Experience supporting production incidents and root-cause analysis
- Experience using Git or Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing and deployment practices
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Australian working rights

Highly regarded

- Experience integrating WAM with Unit4, ArcGIS, Aurion or Mobile Workforce Management
- Oracle Integration Cloud experience
- Utilities-sector experience
- WAM upgrades, migrations and system-enhancement experience
- CI/CD and automated deployment experience
- Oracle certifications or relevant technical qualifications
