Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of specialist geotechnical projects by assisting with project planning, coordination and execution. Working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

About the role

As a Project Engineer, you will support all aspects of project delivery, including planning, technical coordination, commercial management and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with project planning, programming and site coordination
- Supporting the safe delivery of projects in accordance with Keller's HSEQ standards and procedures
- Managing project documentation, quality assurance and document control
- Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and technical requirements
- Coordinating procurement activities, subcontractors and material deliveries
- Assisting with project cost control, forecasting and budget management
- Supporting the management of project risks, variations and contractual matters
- Preparing technical reports, project records and project close-out documentation




- Undertaking site inspections and working closely with site teams to drive project performance
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery outcomes

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong engineering fundamentals, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to project delivery.

You will ideally have:

- A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction, infrastructure or geotechnical projects
- A sound understanding of project delivery, commercial and contractual principles
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, procurement and construction activities
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with AutoCAD and intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Current Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence
- Experience within piling, foundations, ground improvement or other specialist geotechnical construction will be highly regarded.
