The Role

As a Gasfitter, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing and installing a wide range of gas appliances, gas hot water systems and gas heating equipment. You'll work across residential and commercial sites, delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring compliance with all relevant Victorian regulations and Australian Standards.

Key Duties Include:

- Service, maintain and repair domestic and commercial gas appliances

- Install and replace gas hot water systems and gas heating equipment

- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently

- Commission, test and certify gas installations

- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and manufacturer specifications





- Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections

- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships

- Maintain accurate service records and documentation

- Comply with workplace health and safety policies and Victorian gas regulations

Key Requirements:

- Trade qualification as a Gasfitter or eligibility to obtain the relevant Victorian Gasfitting Licence

- Experience servicing gas appliances, gas hot water systems and gas heating equipment

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- General plumbing experience is highly regarded

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Current driver's licence

- Willingness to relocate to regional Australia (for sponsored applicants)

- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing where required
