ECC United Pty Ltd is an established Residential & Commercial Open Builder with almost 10 years of successful operations. As part of our expansion into Queensland, we are looking for an experienced construction leader to establish and grow our Brisbane operations.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to play a key role in building a long-term business while sharing in its success through a performance-based remuneration and profit-sharing model.

This role is ideally suited to someone who wants to build a business with us rather than simply fill another management position.

Key responsibilities

- Lead residential and commercial construction projects.
- Build relationships with developers, architects and consultants.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with clients, stakeholders and partners to support business development.
- Develop the Queensland business.
- Build and manage a subcontractor network.
- Assist in winning recent projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and to a high standard.
- Oversee all operational functions and ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of services across the Queensland region.
- Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with company objectives and performance targets.
- Lead, manage and mentor the Queensland management team and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets and drive revenue growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and industry standards.




- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report on operational metrics and business performance to senior leadership.
- Manage risk and implement appropriate controls across the state operations.

What we’re looking for

- Extensive experience in a senior operations or general management role within a commercial business environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving organisational change.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into operational execution.
- Excellent financial management skills, including budget management and P&L; responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-performing teams through effective leadership and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in business development and identifying growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements in the business or services sector.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
- Strong Queensland construction experience.
- Existing subcontractor network.
- Leadership.
- QBCC knowledge.
