Reporting to the Parks & Gardens Team Leader, this position is responsible for maintenance and upgrades of Parks and Gardens throughout the Wattle Range Council area.



There are 2 casual roles available which will be based in Millicent with general roles including mowing, weed control, tree pruning and general garden maintenance to ensure Council maintains safe and well-presented parklands and open space areas for the public to use. The successful applicant will be required to:
- Perform hand spraying
- Perform planting and weeding of garden beds including weed spraying
- Carry out required minor maintenance on irrigation equipment

- Tree trimming and removal

- Mowing lawns
- Machinery operations and truck driving
- General maintenance of Parks & Gardens

- Current MR class drivers’ licence
- WhiteCard
- Proven skills to work effectively within a team environment and take initiative
- Relevant experience in a similar role
