The Opportunity

Reporting directly to a senior partner, you will lead the Family Law practice and enjoy significant autonomy in managing and growing the division.

- Managing a broad range of Family Law matters from commencement through to resolution, including divorce, property settlements, parenting disputes, financial agreements, spousal and child maintenance, domestic violence matters and related proceedings.
- Building and expanding the Family Law practice through business development, networking and client relationship management.




- Working closely with the firm's existing referral network and multidisciplinary teams to maximise client opportunities.
- Mentoring, supervising and developing junior lawyers and support staff as the practice continues to grow.
- Contributing strategically to the ongoing success and direction of the practice.

About You

- Have 5+ years' post-admission experience practising predominantly in Family Law.
- Have strong technical expertise across a broad range of Family Law matters.
- Are commercially minded and enjoy building trusted client relationships.
- Are interested in growing a practice and contributing to business development.
- Have leadership capability or a genuine desire to mentor and develop junior lawyers.
- Bring initiative, professionalism, adaptability and a client-first approach to your work.
