Client Accounts Specialist - Full-Time or Part-Time

One Car Group is looking for a Client Accounts Specialist who can confidently resolve complex novated-leasing queries while making clients feel supported and informed.

We’re a growing novated-leasing business looking for a great addition to our team—someone who brings a positive, can-do attitude, enjoys solving problems and genuinely wants to add value for our clients.

This isn’t a back-office role where you’ll spend the whole day buried in spreadsheets. You’ll speak with clients, manage reconciliations and debtors, solve account issues and help shape our growing accounts function.

You might already be an Accounts Officer, Payroll Officer, Finance Administrator, novated-leasing administrator or client-service superstar with strong financial administration experience.

What matters most is that you’re organised, great with numbers, confident picking up the phone and willing to take ownership through to resolution.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Managing complex client account enquiries by phone and email, ensuring requests are addressed promptly, clearly and with a strong sense of ownership

- Providing timely progress updates and supporting clients through to resolution

- Completing end-of-lease reconciliations and explaining outcomes to clients

- Managing aged debtors, invoice follow-ups and payment arrangements

- Assisting with the onboarding of new clients, including guidance on setting up salary deductions in their payroll platform

- Reviewing month-end reporting and recurring fuel-card and insurance payments





- Coordinating FBT reporting and GST/BAS preparation for final approval

- Managing escalated queries, significant claims and funds shortfalls

- Overseeing procurement and aftermarket invoicing, business expenses, subscriptions and payment preparation

- Supporting the Finance Administration Officer and Client Experience team with technical accounts and FBT matters

- Maintaining and refining effective accounts procedures, controls and records

What you’ll bring

- Experience in accounts, payroll, debtor management or financial administration

- Strong customer service experience

- Confidence communicating with clients by phone and email

- A responsive, client-first approach and commitment to following through

- Sound reconciliation, invoicing and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail and organisation

- A positive, can-do attitude and genuine desire to add value for clients

- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Previous experience with novated leasing and/or Xero is not essential but will be highly regarded.

We’re open to both full‑time and part‑time candidates.

For part‑time applicants, we envisage a minimum of three days per week, with the specific days and working arrangement agreed together.

You may have built your experience through payroll, novated‑leasing administration, finance administration, accounts, insurance, fleet or customer service rather than following a traditional accounting pathway.
