About the Role
At The Regent Medical Group, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary health clinic .
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly competent clinician who delivers quality, patient-centered care. We operate a busy practice with an established general practice network, meaning you will step into an immediate high-volume patient caseload with full administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams and comprehensive lower limb assessments.
- Review patient medical histories, imaging, and diagnostic results.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions.
- Conduct routine foot care, biomechanical assessments, and therapeutic treatments for conditions such as arthritis, fractures, sports injuries, corns, and calluses.
- Prescribe orthotics and custom assistive devices to treat deformities, manage pain, and improve patient mobility.
- Manage diabetic foot assessments, vascular checks, and preventative management plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with our GP network and broader allied health professionals to deliver holistic care.
Skills and ExperienceEssential:
- Qualified Podiatrist with current AHPRA registration (no restrictions).
- Demonstrated experience working as a Podiatrist across a broad scope of practice.
- Excellent clinical knowledge of therapeutic and preventative treatments for the lower extremities.
- Solid familiarity with all types of foot problems, including biomechanical deformities, diabetic complications, and high-risk feet.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with empathy and patience when dealing with chronic diseases or elderly patients.
- Up to date with the latest evidence-based practice and podiatric technologies.
- High level of reliability and commitment to a consistent weekly day.
Other Requirements:
- Valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance.
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.
