We’re on the hunt for enthusiastic Team Member Barista to join our crew at Tea Republic Mascot. More than just a staff member - You’ll be the face of our brand, an ambassador – Crafting fresh drinks, creating feel-good vibes and helping us build a loyal tea-loving community. Delivering exceptional customer service, and helping create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
You’ll be responsible for preparing beverages to our quality standard, maintaining a clean workspace and supporting your team to ensure smooth daily operations
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly warm positive attitude
- Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
- Preparing toppings and using brewing machine to prepare tea base
- Shaking beverages to recipe standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory control, and back-of-house duties
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Support the team in ensuring smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking for
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Demonstrate clear communication skills and a love for customer interaction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and reliable team player
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance suitable for a customer-facing role
- Demonstrate a proactive, can do attitude taking initiative to improve customer experience and team performance
- Be available to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Barista or hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential
- Basic food handling knowledge or certification (preferred)
- Speaking fluent in a second language is a plus
