About the Role
As our Parts Interpreter, you will play a key role in supporting both our workshop and retail customers by accurately identifying, sourcing and supplying automotive parts and accessories. You will work closely with suppliers, technicians and customers to ensure the smooth operation of the parts department.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and supply the correct parts for customers and technicians.
- Source and order parts from manufacturers and suppliers.
- Process parts sales, quotations, invoices and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control processes.
- Manage backorders and keep customers informed of delivery timeframes.
- Support workshop repair orders with timely parts supply.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Assist with stock-takes and inventory management activities.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in automotive parts interpreting, spare parts sales or a related automotive role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Sound computer skills and ability to learn dealer management systems.
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicle components and systems.
- A proactive attitude and strong team focus.
- Current driver's license (preferred).
