Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an established and well-respected pathology practice offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology across NSW and north-west Victoria. Position description

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
- Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
- Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
- Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

Ideal candidate We offer a comprehensive training program suitable for medical/health science students wishing to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment whilst studying. You will learn high-quality patient care and valuable clinical skills in a fast-paced, flexible working environment.

Our ideal candidate:

- Is open to working part-time hours on a scheduled roster, Monday to Sunday.
- Is passionate about healthcare and committed to providing excellent care and service to patients and doctors
- A hard-working,



motivated individual with a solid work ethic
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High-level attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Prior to commencement, all candidates must provide documentary evidence of the following:
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Commitment to annual influenza vaccination.

A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement. Please note, our program requires a non-negotiable minimum 25 hours per week commitment.
