HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Patient Safety Manager for our client that is a leading global pharmaceutical company based in Mulgrave.

This is a 12-month full-time contract chance via HOBAN Recruitment, offering a adaptable hybrid working arrangement (3 days office & 2 days WFH) and an excellent opportunity for a Patient Safety / Pharmacovigilance professional to contribute to global medicine safety initiatives and support compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with regional and global Patient Safety teams, playing a key role in pharmacovigilance activities including safety monitoring, risk management, regulatory reporting, and ensuring the ongoing safety of medicines.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will support a broad range of Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities, including:

- Supporting the development and implementation of Risk Management Plans
- Providing safety information and contributing to benefit-risk assessments
- Supporting PV audit and inspection readiness activities
- Planning, processing, and reporting aggregate safety reports to Health Authorities and Ethics Committees (where required)
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Pharmacovigilance Agreements
- Maintaining PV awareness and training activities
- Managing the collection, review, follow-up, and submission of adverse event cases, including:Spontaneous reports: Literature cases, Solicited reports and Post-marketing safety cases
- Ensuring local market safety data quality and compliance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Medical, and global Patient Safety teams

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A university degree (preferably in Life Sciences) or nursing qualification
- 2–3 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, or medical environment
- Previous experience in Pharmacovigilance, Patient Safety, Drug Safety, or Medical Information
- Knowledge and understanding of local and international PV regulations, including ICH and CIOMS guidelines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with local and global stakeholders
- Full working rights in Australia
