Keyresponsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and high quality, evidence-based patient care is planned and delivered that is in line with Western Health values (Cares - Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety), policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure best care for patients.
- Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture that supports teamwork.
- Support, mentor and promote ongoing learning and professional development for all staff within the unit.
- Actively participate in quality improvement projects for the source.
Aboutyou:
Aboutyou:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Intensive Care Nursing or Critical Care Nursing.
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (APHRA).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, as required.
- Demonstrated passion for intensive care nursing and a commitment to being a positive role model within the unit.
- Flexibility to work within a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
