Prestige Plants Australia is looking for an experiencedKey Account Manager to grow key customer relationships and manage major plant orders from enquiry and quotation through to delivery and payment.

Established in 1999, Prestige Plants is a trusted wholesale supplier of premium trees and plants to landscapers, developers, civil contractors and government projects across Victoria and Current South Wales. With more than 220 acres of nursery operations across Kinglake, Victoria, and Alstonville, New South Wales, and over 5,000 plant lines, we are one of Australia’s largest and most diverse wholesale nurseries.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of key customers and become a trusted partner for their projects and plant supply.

This role is based in Kinglake, Victoria.

You will:

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with key customers and stakeholders including Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Managers, Landscape Contractors, developers, civil contractors and government.
- Respond quickly to enquiries and prepare accurate, skilled quotations.
- Follow up quotations and actively convert opportunities into profitable sales.
- Maintain appropriate margins and commercial discipline.
- Manage opportunities from quote → order → delivery → invoice → payment.
- Coordinate high-volume commercial orders effectively with internal teams.
- Keep customers informed and solve problems before they impact projects.
- Understand upcoming customer projects and build a strong forward sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate customer, quotation, order and project information.
- Monitor pricing, margins, outstanding orders and payments.
- Become a trusted adviser and industry “go-to person” for plants and plant supply.

About You

You understand that winning an order is only the beginning.



A successful sale means ensuring the order is accurate, the project is well managed, the customer is kept informed, the product is delivered as promised, the invoice is issued promptly and payment is received.

You will bring:

- 5+ years experience in a senior sales or Key Account Management role with proproven track record of growing accounts.
- Outstanding customer management skills, including the ability to build trust, manage expectations, communicate proactively and resolve problems professionally.
- Excellent project coordination and the ability to manage multiple complex orders and deadlines.
- Experience working with Project Managers, Site Managers and other stakeholders in construction, civil, landscaping or similar project based industries.
- Strong commercial judgement and a focus on results.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
- Confidence handling large commercial orders and solving problems.
- A proactive approach to following up quotations, orders and payments.
- Strong communication skills, a mature mindset and robust work ethic.
- High proficiency with computers and ability to learn new systems quickly systems.

Experience in account management, sales, construction, landscaping, horticulture, building products or another project-based industry will be highly regarded.

Plant knowledge is an advantage, but ability to manage project sales, customer service, organisation and follow-through matters most.
